Strategic Planning Committee

The Strategic Planning Committee is charged with guiding the ISBM’s strategic directions and priorities. Its purpose is to develop, monitor, and update a strategic plan that aligns with ISBM’s mission to promote the integration of behavioral, psychosocial, and biomedical sciences to understand health and illness. The committee works to ensure that ISBM remains responsive to emerging global trends, advances in science, and the evolving needs of its diverse international membership. This includes identifying strategic goals, fostering innovation, enhancing global collaboration, and strengthening the society’s impact on research, policy, education, and practice in behavioral medicine.

The position of ISBM Strategic Planning Committee Chair is a 4-year term.
