Early Career Awards: Celebrating Emerging Leaders

ICBM 2025 will present up to 10 Early Career Awards (USD 500 each) to outstanding early career professionals in behavioral medicine. Additional funding may be available for applicants from resource-limited countries to support conference-related costs.

Eligibility Highlights:

  • Within 7 years of highest degree or professional position.
  • Submit an abstract of empirical work as the first or only author and attend the congress.
  • Priority given to applicants from diverse regions or resource-limited settings.

Self-nominate during abstract submission and upload:

  1. Short CV (max 4 pages)
  2. Personal statement (max 1 page) summarizing research achievements.

Claire Conley

Claire C. Conley, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oncology and a member of the Cancer Prevention and Control Program within Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, USA. Dr. Conley’s program of research broadly focuses on psychosocial issues across the cancer continuum, from prevention to end-of-life. Her research aims to promote health behavior change and improve quality of life in the context of cancer.
