INSPIRE at ICBM

INSPIRE, the Early Career Network of ISBM, hosted a panel session dedicated to early career researchers and professionals at the 2023 International Congress of Behavioral Medicine. The panelists included:

  • Dr. Johannes Lafteron, Health and Medical University Potsdam, Germany
  • Dr. Simon Bacon, Concordia University, Canada
  • Dr. Angela Pfammatter, University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA
  • Dr. Alejandra Caqueo-Urízar, Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, Chile

The panel discussed topics such as professional identity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and career development. Attendees also engaged in a lively conversation, and asked excellent questions!

Allison Marziliano

Allison Marziliano, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research in New York City, USA. Dr. Marziliano's research examines how physical illness impacts relationships, in addition to social isolation and loneliness. She has examined these constructs in several groups, including women with osteoporosis-related bone fractures and head and neck cancer survivors.
