INSPIRE, the early career group of ISBM, hosted many exciting events at the in-person International Congress of Behavioral Medicine, in Vienna, Austria, from August 6-9, 2025.

First, INSPIRE welcomed more than 80 early career individuals as mentees at two Mentorship Breakfasts on Thursday and Friday mornings of the conference. Discussion topics ranged from broad professional development advice to networking in different research areas, and everything in between.

Additionally, several members of the Board of ISBM stepped out to mingle with early career folks at the “Meet the Board of ISBM event,” held at a nearby restaurant that served local Austrian cuisine on the Thursday night of the conference. Many excellent connections were made!

Although our in-person meeting has passed for this year, please join INSPIRE to stay connected and up to date on the exciting opportunities that INSPIRE offers between congress meetings!
