Key Highlights of the Webinar: Dr. Patel will describe the evidence in support of a system-wide change approach that includes empowerment of front-line, community-based providers to deliver evidence based psychosocial interventions as the foundation of mental health care. The strengths of this approach as well as an overview of the EMPOWER program which is building a suite of digital tools, resources and methods to rapidly build the capacity of a front-line workforce to learn, master and deliver evidence-based psychosocial interventions will be described.

Allison Marziliano

Allison Marziliano, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research in New York City, USA. Dr. Marziliano's research examines how physical illness impacts relationships, in addition to social isolation and loneliness. She has examined these constructs in several groups, including women with osteoporosis-related bone fractures and head and neck cancer survivors.
