Lunch Talks in Behavioral Medicine

The Swedish Society for Behavioral Medicine is pleased to announce their Fall 2024 Lunch Talks in Behavioral Medicine series. The talks will be held on 18th November and 16th December from 12:15-12:45 CET (UTC +1).

The first talk will take place at Uppsala University, and features Professor Erik Olsson. He will be speaking on “Psychocardiology: Understanding the heart – brain connection”.

The second talk will take place at Umeå university, and features Dr. Linus Andersson. He will be speaking on “Smell loss after COVID-19 infection: Can a rapid odor test predict long-covid problems?”.

You are warmly welcome to participate either on-site or online. The talks are free of charge.

Claire C. Conley, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oncology and a member of the Cancer Prevention and Control Program within Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, USA. Dr. Conley’s program of research broadly focuses on psychosocial issues across the cancer continuum, from prevention to end-of-life. Her research aims to promote health behavior change and improve quality of life in the context of cancer.
