Seeking applications for IJBM Editor-in-Chief

The International Journal of Behavioral Medicine (IJBM) is seeking applications for Editor-in-Chief.

IJBM is the official scientific journal of the International Society for Behavioral Medicine (ISBM). IJBM seeks to present the best theoretically-driven, evidence-based work in the field of behavioral medicine from around the globe.

The Role

The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the overall management of the journal and is responsible for all editorial text that appears in the journal.

Applications

Applications are due via email to IJBMed@uci.edu by November 1, 2023, and will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

Michael Hoyt

Michael A. Hoyt, PhD, is an Department of Population Health & Disease Prevention and Director of the Behavioral Medicine Research Lab at the University of California, Irvine in Irvine, California, USA. Dr. Hoyt's research interests include biobehavioral processes related to psychological adjustment and coping in the context of chronic disease and health-related adversity across the lifespan. His work seeks to understand the common pathways (e.g., psychological, behavioral, and psychobiological) related to the onset and recovery from physical illnesses, with a focus on cancer survivorship.
